  The resulty is Ian Gillan Band who manage to release 3 albums, the second one named Clear air turbulence being the best for sure from the all 3. Originaly released in spring of with a solid line up like predecesos, musicians coming from diffrent already well known prog and rock bands like bassist John Gustafson from Quatermass, excellent.

  great cd. i think gillan is a genius. it's really hard to match deep purples early releases and considering that ian gillan band was really trying to move away from the Deep Purple sound on this release you have to look at both projects completley quiwheewablidedansperagdolitagi.infoinfod of 's based heavy metal, this album sports more of a funky jazz-rock fusion, almost taking on a progressive rock sound 4/5(17).
